On Aug. 23, Sunday morning looked a little different at Great Lawn Park. Runners and walkers lined up for the 5K as families and teams ran side by side through the course, friends cheered each other on and plenty of dogs joined the fun, too.<\/p>\n

By the end of the morning, 200 runners and walkers had crossed the finish line. But the Rebel Run 5K was about more than completing a race, it was a chance to come together for the places and communities we care about across Colorado.<\/p>\n<\/div>

MORE THAN A RACE<\/h1><\/div>

This year, the Rebel Run 5K raised more than $31,000 through participant registrations, donations, fundraising and sponsorships to support the work of Conservation Colorado<\/strong><\/a> and Conservation Colorado Education Fund<\/strong><\/a> to protect Colorado\u2019s climate, clean air, water, lands and communities.<\/p>\n<\/div>

An event like the Rebel Run 5K takes a community of people and partners who are willing to show up for Colorado.
