Hilda Nucete – Protégete Program Director


Hilda Nucete is the Program Director for “Protégete: Our Air, Our Health,” a program of Conservation Colorado. She is a mentor at LIPS Institute (Latinas Increasing Political Strength) and was recently appointed to the Denver Office of Sustainability Advisory Council by Mayor Michael Hancock.
Hilda grew up in Caracas, Venezuela, moving to Colorado in 2007 after political unrest in the country. She graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in International studies with emphasis in Latin America and Europe and a minor in French language and culture.
Hilda has long been interested in social, racial, and environmental justice issues, and is passionate about fighting against climate change by promoting clean energy for a healthy future for all Coloradans.
