Jessica is a native of Golden, Colorado who grew up in a family that loved the outdoors and instilled deep values of conservation in her. She spent a large part of her career in Washington, D.C., working for groups including the Center for American Progress and The Wilderness Society. She most recently covered public lands and energy issues at the Center for Western Priorities.
Jessica holds a Masters in Environmental Law and Policy from Vermont Law School and an undergraduate degree from Carleton College. In her spare time, she can be found hiking, running, and traveling.
