Michal (aka “Micha”) grew up trail running and climbing in the coastal foothills of northern California. After graduating from UC Berkeley, she spent four years lobbying on climate and agriculture policy in Washington D.C., organizing on fair housing issues, leading wilderness programs for youth domestically and abroad, and teaching environmental science and policy courses for high school students in western North Carolina and Maine.
Currently, Michal is located in Denver and oversees Conservation Colorado’s work with communities in the Front Range. She is passionate about helping people build a personal connection to their local environment and empowering them to create positive change. In her spare time, you can catch Michal hiking, skiing, or mountain biking.
