Patrick was born and raised in Colorado, and inherited his love of this state as well as a passion for politics and the environment from his Colorado obsessed family. After spending a couple of summers in Washington DC, Patrick realized Coloradans and sticky heat don’t mix, so he hightailed it back here to a more temperate clime. When it’s not football season, Patrick can be found camping, or with a couple of twin-tips strapped to his feet or enjoying a variety of other Colorado activities. Except jogging, he hates jogging. But on Saturdays and Sundays in the fall, his focus is dedicated to cheering on the Buffs and Broncos, because the harder you cheer, the better they play. That’s how it works, right?
