Conservation Colorado & Protégete are seeking a Strategic Partnerships Manager based anywhere in Colorado who will play a key role in Conservation Colorado’s efforts to build an environmental movement that prioritizes Latinx issues.
In this role, you will elevate Latinx leadership by building new relationships with Latinx-led and Latinx-serving organizations doing advocacy and systems change work across the state.
Location: Colorado
Work schedule: Non-exempt, full time

The mission of Conservation Colorado’s Protégete team is to elevate Latinx-driven climate, air, land, water, and community priorities through leadership development, education, organizing, advocacy, and elections, that centers Latinx voices for the benefit of all people of Colorado.
We achieve these goals by organizing people and electing conservation-minded policymakers. We work closely with policy leaders, activists, businesses, and other organizations, and have built a reputation as one of the leading conservation advocacy organizations in the region. Within the organization, we aim to create a workplace culture of policies and practices that demonstrate how we value equity and inclusion.
What You’ll Do
Conservation Colorado’s Protégete team is growing and shifting its focus to be on developing leaders in the Latinx community. This is a new position with a real opportunity to engage Latino/a leaders across the state in environmental justice issues to win policy victories aimed at protecting our communities from climate change and pollution. This position reports directly to the Protégete Director with the following responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strategic partnerships:
Leverage partnerships for programs and campaigns:
Convene and manage Protégete coalitions:
In addition to your regular responsibilities, all staff are expected to participate at some level in organizational priorities including helping in certain fundraising efforts, taking part in our election-related activities, and committing to our organizational efforts around equity & inclusivity.

Fundamentally, we want someone who can build strong relationships that bring mutual benefits for us and our partners. More specifically, you will have or be most or all of the following:
This position does not have an undergraduate education requirement. This is a full-time job but there can be some flexibility in the exact schedule. Flexibility to travel is a requirement for this position.
Compensation and Benefits:
The full-time salary range for this role is between $58,000-72,000 based on a wage analysis across the organization and new staff rarely starting at the top of the range.
