Julia is a current City Council member for Ward 2 and is running for Mayor. Her vision for Thornton includes safe and affordable neighborhoods, a strong and growing economy, a greener and healthier Thornton, accessible and reliable transportation, and quality and diverse community services. While serving on city council, Julia has been innovative, collaborative, values-driven, and solutions-oriented and she will bring that leadership to the mayor’s seat.
Justin Martinez

Justin Martinez is a longtime community advocate who will prioritize equity, safety, and opportunity for all residents of Thornton. His experience in planning will help Thornton grow sustainably, and his passion for his community in South Thornton will pave the way for revitalization and a thriving economy.

As a working mother and longtime community leader, Roberta Ayala will work to build a thriving city that works for all! Roberta’s vision for Thornton includes safe and clean neighborhoods, city services that are accessible, accountable, and transparent, a welcoming community for all, and an economy that works for everyone.
How to Cast Your Vote

Register to vote or verify your voter registration
You can register to vote online or in person up to and including on Election Day by visiting www.govotecolorado.gov or visiting a Voter Service and Polling Center in your county.

Vote by mail or drop box
To vote by mail, put your ballot in the mailbox by Monday, October 30 to ensure it is received by 7pm on Election Day. After October 30th, please drop your ballot off at a dropbox or a Voter Service and Polling Center (VSPC) near you. All ballots must be received by 7pm on Election Day: Tuesday, November 7th. Vote in person
Starting Monday, October 30th, you can go in-person to any Voter Service and Polling Center (VSPC) in your county to register to vote, use accessible voting equipment, update your voter information, drop off your ballot, or vote in person. You must be in line to vote by 7pm on Election Day: Tuesday, November 7th.
