It’s Colorado Climate Week! 5 Days and 5 Ways To Act On Climate.
Join Coloradans from across the state to celebrate Climate Week. ADD YOUR VOICE and urge your state and federal leaders to pass bold climate policy that centers pollution reductions for the communities impacted most.
Climate change is already impacting Colorado’s people, economy, wild places, and way of life. We’re seeing hotter temperatures and drier summers, shorter winters, and larger, more devastating wildfires.
While Colorado has ambitious goals to cut carbon pollution in half by 2030, we’re unfortunately off track from meeting this goal. And not all Coloradans are impacted by climate change equally. Those on the front lines of this crisis, including Black, Indigenous, and Latinx communities, are especially hard hit and have long faced the disproportionate impacts of climate pollution.
We must do everything we can to avoid the impacts of climate change and leave a legacy for our children and grandchildren. Act now!
