Executive Leadership Team

Kelly Nordini

Executive Director

Kelly has been at the forefront of Colorado politics and conservation policy for over two decades. Having started her career as a Colorado campus organizer working on climate change, she has played a pivotal role in the conservation movement by leading efforts to advance clean energy, transform our transportation sector and elect environmental champions to office. Her wealth of experience in politics and public policy has played a role in some of Colorado’s largest environmental successes including the expansion of our light rail system, increased renewable energy standards and investment in clean energy jobs. As Conservation Colorado’s Executive Director, she will lead to protect our Colorado way of life for our children’s future and the legacy that we owe them. She lives in Denver with her husband and two daughters.

Jessica joined our team in 2016 and is a Colorado native from Golden. Before coming here, Jessica worked at the Center for Western Priorities, Center for American Progress, and The Wilderness Society. Favorite spot in Colorado: The deserts of Western Colorado.

Katie Belgard

Government Affairs Director

A New Hampshire native Katie has spent the last 10 years working in the labor movement in Boston. She joined the team in 2019 and is excited to bridge her experience in labor and social justice organizing with the environmental movement here in Colorado. Juan is a first generation immigrant from Chihuahua, Mexico. On July 4th, 2001 he arrived in Nebraska were his family settled. He previously worked as the Managing Director of CIRC Action Fund, an immigrant rights organization. Jennifer joined our team in December 2018. She is a Pueblo native. She volunteered and worked for both Mi Familia Vota and the League of Conservation Voters. In April she led our voter registration work in Pueblo as the Voter Registration Director. She is looking forward to empowering the Pueblo Community. In her free time, she loves to read.  Her favorite place in Colorado is Pagosa Springs.
