DENVER — Today, Conservation Colorado announced its endorsement of Attorney General Phil Weiser for governor in the 2026 general election on Nov. 3. 

Attorney General Weiser has consistently demonstrated the vision and commitment required to protect the climate, air, water, public lands and health of every community across the state. He has defended Colorado from federal overreach that threatens climate and clean energy progress and held corporations accountable when they pollute the state’s air, water and communities. This is the kind of leadership Colorado needs right now.

“Colorado needs a governor who understands both the urgency and the opportunity in front of us,” said Kelly Nordini, CEO of Conservation Colorado. “We are proud to endorse Attorney General Weiser because he will provide the leadership we need to reduce climate pollution, expand wind and solar generation and hold polluters accountable. His leadership will help protect the Colorado we love.”
