Conservation Colorado Endorses Weiser and Griswold
DENVER – Conservation Colorado, the largest statewide environmental advocacy organization in Colorado, announced a new round of endorsements for Attorney General Phil Weiser and Secretary of State Jena Griswold.
Weiser and Griswold have both been conservation champions and have Conservation Colorado’s full support in their re-election.
“Attorney General Weiser has led to protect Colorado’s water supply, challenged rollbacks of critical air quality measures, and fought to increase penalties and accountability of corporations who pollute our air or water,” said Conservation Colorado CEO, Kelly Nordini. “Weiser’s continued leadership in a second term will be critical as Colorado continues to face increased impacts from climate change and threats to our water resources.”
“Colorado has built one of the best election systems in the country and it shows with our consistently high voter turn-out,” added Nordini. “Secretary of State Griswold has led efforts to increase voter access and election security and protected every Colorado voter’s right to cast their ballot. Conservation Colorado is proud to support her for a a second term.”
Additional endorsements, including legislative and county commission races, will be announced as Conservation Colorado’s Board of Directors votes on each candidate.
