Denver — In response to the U.S. Senate passing the so-called “One Big Beautiful Bill,” Conservation Colorado’s CEO Kelly Nordini issued the following statement:
“The Senate’s passage of the Republican budget bill is a reckless move that puts Colorado families, our environment and our clean energy future at risk. At a time when people are struggling to afford groceries, healthcare and energy bills, this bill will raise costs for working families while handing out tax breaks to billionaires and polluters. Now House Republicans must choose: Stand with the Coloradans they were elected to represent or with billionaires.”
Conservation Colorado calls on House Republicans to reject this budget bill, safeguard clean energy investments and put the health and future of Colorado’s communities and environment first.
