Public Lands
We work to protect what makes Colorado beautiful — our stunning public lands with breathtaking mountains, open spaces, rushing rivers and vast wildlife.
These lands are vital to Colorado’s economy and way of life, creating jobs through tourism, recreation and agriculture. However, they face growing threats from pollution, development, and policies from the Trump administration that aim to sell off public lands to the highest bidder and weaken environmental protections. The future of our public lands is at risk, and without action, we could lose what makes Colorado so special.
Keep public lands public and healthy
Protect Wildlife
Ensure public lands are accessible to all
Disproportionately impacted communities – diverse communities who face higher environmental and health burdens due to pollution and climate change – often face barriers to accessing Colorado’s public lands. We advance policies that protect the environment and communities from the harmful effects of industrial activities while ensuring equal access to public lands. We also support initiatives like the Outdoor Equity Grant Program, which increases funding and opportunities that foster equitable access so everyone can benefit from the outdoors.
