May 31, 2018 from 5 – 9 P.M.
Hyatt Regency Denver

Now in its 17th year, Rebel with a Cause is the largest environmental event in the state. The gala brings together over 750 people for a night of celebration and fun. Join Colorado’s most prominent decision-makers, philanthropists, businesses, and environmentalists for a night you don’t want to miss.

Our Rebels

In 2016, the Bears Ears cultural landscape was designated a national monument — protecting beloved public lands and honoring the cultures and identities tied to this singular place. In 2017, the Trump Administration attacked Bears Ears, slashing 85% of the monument’s protected lands.

Our 2018 Rebels are the native-led organizations who are fighting to protect Bears Ears National Monument:

Legislator of the Year: KC Becker

KC Becker

Colorado House Majority Leader KC Becker has continued to be a champ on key environmental issues during this period of federal rollbacks of environmental protections. Whether it is seeking to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to curb climate change or protecting the health and safety of our neighborhoods in relation to oil and gas development, Representative Becker leads on protecting the future of our communities, health, and planet. With a perfect 100% lifetime score on Conservation Colorado’s legislative scorecard, she is a strong voice for Colorado’s communities and environment.
